From July, Bauerfeind will be offering a sport stocking specially designed for endurance sports: the Compression Sock Performance. The noticeable compression it exerts over a large surface area improves circulation and reduces tiring muscle vibrations. This revitalizes legs more quickly and helps them to keep fit for longer.
From January, Bauerfeind’s hand and thumb orthosis previously known as the ManuRhizoLoc will be called the “ManuLoc Rhizo.” The new name puts more emphasis on what it has in common with the ManuLoc hand orthosis. Placing “Rhizo” at the end makes it clear that the thumb support can be removed from the orthosis if necessary as treatment progresses.
Many athletes find wearing compression products beneficial. They improve the circulation, protect the muscles, and speed up regeneration. However, individual movement patterns strain the feet and legs in different ways.
Optimized wearing comfort for the RhizoLoc thumb orthosis: the strap with micro Velcro for adjusting the width at the thumb has been extended. This makes the Velcro closure more stable and it now sticks even better.
The effectiveness of the GenuTrain knee support is proven. It reduces pain, relieves the knee joint, and improves gait. This has been demonstrated by the results of a study conducted by the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg into its biomechanical mode of action. Bauerfeind has now made an advance copy available that includes selected results of the comparative cross-sectional study.
