Sponsoring contract between Jena University of Applied Sciences and Bauerfeind

„A very good starting signal“, 07/12/2007

The Jena University of Applied Sciences and Bauerfeind AG will cooperate in future. On 5th July, 2007 Prof. Dr. Gabriele Beibst, President of the Jena University of Applied Sciences, Klaus Troschel, CFO of Bauerfeind AG, and Dr. Martin Lenz, HR manager of Bauerfeind signed a sponsoring contract initially for a term of five years. Klaus Troschel believes that the conclusion of the contract is the beginning of a close partnership: „We are very interested in expanding our cooperation. The conclusion of this contract is a very good starting signal.“

Business administration students can attend a series of lectures under the heading „Selected aspects of modern company management from a practical angle“ already during the 2007/2008 Winter term. On the part of the Jena University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Klaus Watzka will mentor the lectures, in which course instructors also from Bauerfeind will discuss central aspects of modern company management such as marketing, leadership and strategy, and exemplify them.

HR manager Dr. Martin Lenz stressed that the Jena University of Applied Sciences and Bauerfeind were taking the same pragmatic approach to designing careers and perspectives for students and summarized: „We have a comparable awareness of quality.“
