Athlete’s weekend at the Seehotel, 05/09/2006
Last weekend a number of successful participants in the XX Olympic Winter Games met at the Seehotel Zeulenroda.
The invitation from Bauerfeind AG was accepted by the skeleton pilot Diana Sartor, the lugers and bobsledders David Moeller, Jan Eichhorn, Anja Schneiderheinze, Nicole Herschmann, Marc Kuehne, and Matthias Hoepfner, the trainer Bernhard Glass as well as the speed skaters Pamela Zoellner and Jens Boden.
The already existing relationships with the athletes were strengthened in Turin. As Co-Partner Germany of the National Olympic Committee, Bauerfeind offered orthopedic technical care that was utilized many times.
The invitation to Zeulenroda was Bauerfeind’s way of saying “thank you” for the good working relationship. And the experience gained from the care of the athletes is constantly used for the development and optimization of products.
The weekend was organized as an informal gathering to enjoy group sports activities, rest and relaxation. A highlight was the team cooking on Friday night at the Seehotel. Together everyone chopped, roasted, stewed - and, of course, ate.
