Bauerfeind and IAT make a strategic partnership, 12/05/2006
The Institute for Applied Scientific Training (IAT) in Leipzig and Bauerfeind AG, one of the leading producers of compression hosiery, supports, insoles and prosthetics, have made a strategic partnership for the future: Together for Elite Sports, can be their new motto now. Bauerfeind and IAT have already worked together on scientific training research for the sport of skeleton sledding and expect to achieve new impulses for detailed movement analysis by networking their digital measuring techniques for the optimization of athletic performance on a world-class level.
“Bauerfeind has an excellent reputation in performance sports and is one of most innovative companies in the industry. The continued development of new products and sport-specific measuring systems also fit the profile of IAT. There are synergies here that will have great significance for performance sports,” says the director of IAT, PD Dr. Arndt Pfützner. “By bundling our core competencies athletes are offered better coaching and support on the way to the top of their game.”
