21. DM Austrian Women’s Run
Compression stockings at the start, 08/22/2008
For the 21st time in May 2008, over 16,000 starters from 58 nations ran in the biggest women’s running event in Europe, the DM Austrian Women’s Run.
The side program also included an information booth run by the German Vein Health Initiative. The response to the offer was enormous: Over 300 interested women obtained advice on early detection of venous diseases and their methods of treatment.
Bauerfeind Austria participated at this booth as the main sponsor and performed venous measurements. The application options for VenoTrain micro compression stockings were also presented there. Many athletes rely on the effectiveness of these stocking and wear them both while running and for regeneration.
By the way, the winner of the DM Women’s Run was Sabrina Mockenhaupt (photo), who ran in this race with Bauerfeind compression stockings, as she has in others.
