New markets in arabic countries

“Dubai was a successful step”, 03/08/2007

Bauerfeind AG is stepping up its activities in international markets. In January 2007 the company participated for the first time in the “Arab Health” convention in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. “Dubai was another successful step in strengthening our product placement in Arabic countries for the future,” assessed the Director of International Sales and Managing Director of Bauerfeind Phlebology, Thomas Bauerfeind, regarding the company’s involvement in Arabic conventions for medical products. A positive result in the meantime is the fact that several customers have placed concrete order inquiries.

Physicians, distributors, patients: Bauerfeind AG’s booth at “Arab Health” in Dubai generated excellent visitor interest throughout the convention. All of the company’s four medical areas were presented with their respective core products. Bauerfeind also displayed their GenuTrain® active support, clinically proven for over 25 years, and their newest innovation from the phlebology division: the first compression stocking that nurtures the leg when worn, VenoTrain® micro balance. Also featured was the SoftSkin silicone liner from the company’s prosthetic division. The orthopedic insoles TRIactive generated a great response form the international convention guests.

“We are very pleased with the demand that we have seen for our products during this convention. We will have a presence at Arab Health again in 2008,” concluded Thomas Bauerfeind positively.
