LONG STANDING PARTNERSHIP DEEPEND
Master school teaches with the most modern technology, 07/18/2006
Within the framework of a training course on July 6, 2006, Bauerfeind AG gave a MediLogic foot pressure measuring system to the educational center Orthopedics Shoe Technique Southwest (B-O-S-S) in Langen. In the future the machine will not only be used for practice but also for study purposes.
The educational center Orthopedics Shoe Technique is more than a training and continuing education center; it is also a forum for the industry and technicians. A goal is the practical and need-oriented procurement of instructional materials. During a full-time training course for master’s students the unique insole system and the foot pressure measuring system MediLogic were the focus, in addition to knee orthoses and supports. For the course, Thomas Uckley from Bauerfeind Foot Orthopedics and Dr. Heiko Tober from T&T Medilogic gave a model to Gerwin Limbach, director of the educational center. The prospective orthopedic shoe master craftsmen learned by practical example the advantages of digital foot pressure measuring for future use.
The computer-aided measuring system MediLogic can determine the pressure under the foot statistically through a measuring plate as well as dynamically through an insole and display it graphically. That is a decisive advantage for orthopedic technicians to optimally treat a patient’s foot. “Practical knowledge is best obtained through modern technology. Therefore we are pleased about our partnership with Bauerfeind and the item on loan,” said Limbach with regards to the delivery.
