TOP ATHLETE RUNS IN VENOTRAIN MICRO
“Mocki” strikes twice, 02/22/2007
In February the long-distance runner Sabrina Mockenhaupt shone at the indoor track and field championship in Leipzig: Gold for the 3,000 meters and silver for the over 1,500 meters. “This is a result that I am very satisfied with,” said a pleased “Mocki” afterwards. The athlete, who runs with the Cologne Marathon Club, wears VenoTrain® micro knee socks from Bauerfeind for both training and competition. The top athlete won’t go without this “wonder product” ever since she got a tip from British marathoner Paula Radcliffe several years ago. Pain and swelling, that earlier plagued Sabrina Mockenhaupt after running, are noticeably reduced with the stockings. Additionally the champion has a better sense of her stride when running and improved performance.
After the exertions of the indoor competition there will only be a short break for Sabrina Mockenhaupt. The next big goal is the EM indoor championship in early March, which the runner was nominated for after her strong performance in Leipzig. Two “companions” will be with her on her way to the venue in Birmingham – “Mocki’s” treasured compression stockings.
