TÜV Rheinland seal for quality service in specialized medical shops, 05/11/2007
Cologne/Zeulenroda. TÜV Rheinland Leben und Gesundheit GmbH has certified more than 50 specialized medical shops in Germany for „attested customer satisfaction“. The objective of the medical shops in taking part in the competition was to rank high in the competition as quality supplier of comprehensive services and a high level of consultation competence. This pilot project is supported by Bauerfeind AG as a global leader among manufacturers of medical aids. It is expected that another 500 specialized medical shops will be certified for their attested customer satisfaction by the end of 2007.
With the seal for „attested customer satisfaction" the TÜV Rheinland Group responds to the requests from consumers for objective and independent assessment of the quality of services in the health system. „This strengthens the diaglog among manufacturers, dealers and customers, and the medical shops can demonstrate how long-term customer loyalty can be obtained and new customers won with an excellent service record“, Bruno Ruckriegl, manager for business development of TÜV Rheinland Leben und Gesundheit GmbH, underlines.
For Bauerfeind, the certification of medical shops is a logical consequence of the requirements on the health market of the future – and of the quality partner program practiced with specialized dealers in Germany. The medical aid manufacturer, for whom the quality of products and service are an inseparable part of the corporate philosophy, not only supports the establishment of minimum quality standards in the industry but also customer focus and consultation quality, which he also expects of his partners. „The neutral TÜV Rheinland seal is a reliable aid for orientation by the industry's customers“, Bauerfeind CEO, Michael Ullrich, says.
The TÜV Rheinland seal certifies attested customer satisfaction and thereby quality of consultation and supply for one year. An annual verification is required if the certificate is to be maintained. At first, the outlets which compete for the certification, are evaluated by the customers. Consumers can obtain detailed information on the certification on the internet page of TÜV Rheinland at www.tuv.com. Interested parties should simply enter the ID of the medical shop to receive background information on the certification project and a brief description of a specialized shop instantly, which makes the process transparent and builds confidence.
