NORDIC subsidiary in new premises
Bauerfeind's new Stockholm presence, 10/23/2009
Effective immediately, the Scandinavian business of Bauerfeind AG from Zeulenroda/Thuringia will be managed from the new Stockholm location. Last week, CEO Prof. Hans. B. Bauerfeind officially opened the company's new premises in the Swedish capital.
The centerpiece of the new Bauerfeind office in downtown Stockholm is the large showroom, which features items from the entire product portfolio: supports and orthoses, as well as medical compression stockings and insoles. Also available for viewing are the Image 3D and MediLogic digital measurement systems, which garnered considerable interest during the opening ceremonies: Image 3D provides non-contact sizing for medical compression stockings, while MediLogic displays the compression ratios below the feet.
"This type of measurement technology will become increasingly important in the future. It creates the conditions to be able to offer truly individualized support for patients", emphasized Prof. Hans B. Bauerfeind during his opening speech. "Even the best product is useless if it is just lying in a closet", said the Bauerfeind AG chairman and explained: "That's why we at Bauerfeind place so much emphasis on quality - quality in products, care and service."
More than 75 Bauerfeind business partners, among them orthopedic technicians, surgeons, sports physicians and physiotherapists, came to Stockholm to attend the opening ceremonies for the new premises, which will also be used as a training center.
