Regional sport

The involvement of Bauerfeind AG in sports is not limited to the Co-Partnership with Germany. Bauerfeind supports competitions on local and regional levels and hopefuls in clubs and organizations. Bauerfeind pays special attention to up-and-comers as a responsible and future-oriented company.

Traditionally, for example, Bauerfeind has sponsored the Zeulenroda track and field meet and the International Thuringen Women’s Cycling Race. Both competitions include not only world class athletes at the starting line, but also up-and-comers.

We accompany the continued development of regional talent from the beginning. Among these is the 800 meter specialist Andreas Freimann, the long distance runner Christian Seiler and the hurdle sprinter Alexander John. All three originate from the talent pool of TSV Zeulenroda, a current talent center, which is also sponsored by Bauerfeind.
