ValguLoc® II
The right angle, day or night
To combat angled big toe deformities, also called bunions (and referred to by doctors as hallux valgus), Bauerfeind is marketing the novel ValguLoc II. The orthosis can be worn at night or during the day in comfortable shoes, because the hinge and splint are slim and anatomically contoured. The ValguLoc II comes in a universal size and can be worn on the right or left foot.
Bauerfeind Competence Center opens in Romania, 05/07/2009
Since May 1 Bauerfeind AG has had a presence in Romania. Last week the Thuringian manufacturer of medical aids celebrated the opening of its specialist retail shop in Cluj. Alongside Bauerfeind products from all business units, the Center is also equipped with the Image 3D and MediLogic measurement systems.

New LumboTrain® fastener available October 1, 10/13/2008
The Bauerfeind classics LumboTrain® and LumboTrain® Lady will come equipped with a new, perforated fastener starting October 1. This fastener is considerably more breathable, which makes for even better wearing comfort. The use of micro Velcro® also makes the fastener extremely flat, but it still provides the same high degree of tensioning as before.
