Without innovation there's no market leadership - that's the way Bauerfeind looks at it. But, we not only do that at home. Bauerfeind also promotes development work performed by our business partners such as specialized retailers, workshops, physicians, clinics, universities and up-and-coming scholars.
Bauerfeind Scientific Phlebology Award (BSPA)
The Bauerfeind Phlebology Business Unit set up this prize sponsored by the International Union of Phlebology (IUP) to honor outstanding scientific ideas for studying ways to treat venous diseases with compression therapy. It has been awarded every two years since 2001 and Dr. Yared Herouy and Dr. Susanna Heising have received it to date.
The Bauerfeind Prize Honoring Class Bests
Traditionally the Bauerfeind Prize has the purpose of honoring the class bests of the master craftsperson's courses at the German College for Orthopedics Technology. The Bauerfeind Podiatry Business Unit awards the winner a cash prize on an annual basis for her or his outstanding degree at the annual conference at the Study Society for Orthopedics Technology.
