Bauerfeind AG celebrates 75th corporate anniversary with ceremonial act and employee reunion
Former Chancellor Dr. Helmut Kohl and the finance minister of Thuringen, Birgit Diezel, were the most prominent attendants on September 18th on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Bauerfeind AG. Over 300 guests from political, business and scientific backrounds, long-term companions and associates as well as friends of the family were present in the east-thuringian town of Zeulenroda. During the course of the ceremonial act, the new administration building was inaugurated, with its 57 meters the tallest building built in Thuringen since the reunification of Germany.
A week later, Hans B. Bauerfeind invited the staff to celebrate the company’s anniversary. With over 1400 attendants, this event became the largest single meeting of employees in the company’s history. The employees of Kempen, Remscheid, Schwanheim and Zeulenroda celebrated a terrific party along with their colleagues from subsidiaries across Europe and the US. With a program quite aptly described as being “multicultural”, the employees expressed their most sincere thanks to Bauerfeind family.
