It stabilizes the ankle and ligaments and improves circulation.

Comfortable support

With every movement you make, two soft pads become active, massaging the ankle joint. Cushioned pads support the inner and outer ankle bones to reduce swelling and provide even more stability. MalleoTrain supports are easy to put on, do not slip, and sit firmly and comfortably in position.

FAQS

Can I wash it?

Yes. All Bauerfeind supports are made with machine-washable materials. Here’s how to care for your brace: For products with Velcro® straps, pads or inserts, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air dry; do not put it in the dryer. Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain elasticity and original fit.

What if I’m between sizes? Should I purchase the smaller or larger size?

Choose the larger size for gentler compression or the smaller size for firmer compression. When between sizes, the average person prefers the smaller size for a more secure fit, unless you are sensitive to compression. If you are unsure what size you need, contact our experts and we’ll be happy to help. Call 1-800-423-3405 or click to chat live online.

Love it, except doesn't fit well over foot itself
I feel really safe with this providing support to my formerly broken ankle. Love the cushioning. However, it fits everywhere perfectly except the piece that goes around my foot which is too big. Makes creases when I put on my shoes. Too bad there isn't sizing for women, as I'm sure that part would be smaller. But I'm living with it, as I know another size down would be too small.

Ankle feels great
After being in a walking boot for what seemed like forever and my ankle still hurting and PT only making it worse I found a new podiatrist. We scheduled surgery but till then he told me to try this brace/compression sock. It is pricy, but it is amazing. I was able to walk again with a regular shoe till surgery despite there being torn stuff in my ankle and it also brought the swelling down as well as the pain. While my tendon did keep snapping out of place and over the fibula, the pain was way less than when it was in a boot and I could wear regular jeans again too. Even though I only needed it for 2 weeks as then my doctor fixed my ankle and I haven't needed it since, it was worth it for those 2 weeks.

Pain is gone
Together with the knee supports and this one for my left ankle, the pain that I have been having in my hips and knees when I climb stairs, is now gone. After I wasn't able to do my normal cardio exercise routine due to a trip and it's preparations in August, when I came back home I discovered the pain was gone. When I restarted my exercises, the pain came back. That's when I realize that my super flexible joints were suffering from that intensity cardio workout. The idea came to get some joint supports and these are the supports that I bought after some research. I really am quite amazed that just using these supports could do that. Since using these, all the pain is gone again! They don't seem that big of a support to give that kind of effect, but they obviously are! I am extremely happy about the lack of pain. I suspect that my problem is not an isolated one and I highly recommend these supports and hope others with a similar issue, may find some similar relief from their pain too.
