This exercise strengthens the muscles of the arms and core. Bauerfeind Sports Elbow Support provides sports compression for better performance and support during workouts.

1. Begin in a pushup position with your hands underneath your shoulders, legs stretched out behind you, and feet shoulder-width apart. Your body should form a straight line from your head through your shoulders, back, hips and legs.

2. Shifting your weight to maintain your balance, lift one hand up to touch your opposite arm. Pause briefly then return your hand to the mat.

3. Switch to the other side, bringing your other hand up to tap the opposite arm then returning it to the mat. This completes one repetition. Concentrate on maintaining your form and engaging your core during each movement.

4. Complete 10-15 reps before taking a rest, or set a timer to see how many you can complete in one minute.

Primary muscles: Arms and Core
Secondary muscles: Shoulders, Back and Glutes
